Lord Captain Starklund orders the agents to fly to Rokarth again to take on a mission for an "acquaintance". While the agents are waiting for instructions in the Thaler Inn, they receive an order from a cherub of an Inquisitor Halikarn to investigate a supposed miracle.

The Acid Refinery Delta-64 has recently exploded under mysterious circumstances. There are several reports of a single survivor.

Archdeacon Excavus Artosy of the Adeptus Ministorum has launched an investigation into the possibility that this survivor is a potential saint.

Halikarn orders the characters to find out what happened at the Acid Refinery and the identity of the survivor. He will contact the characters in three days for their report and expects results.

The vox frequency ++4181115-WYRM++ connects the characters to Leo 'Wink' Rantz, a Rokarthian Infractionist who works for Halikarn and can lead the characters to the Acid Refinery and give them information about the local area.

When the characters make contact with Wink, an infractionist from the Cutter gang comes forward and demands a ransom if they want their contact alive.

With the help of Ceasar's tech skills, the agents find the Chop Shop, the hideout of a Cutter faction that cannibalizes augmented humans. They are able to infiltrate the building and take out the gangers with the help of Serverin's stealth skills and Vinz's psy skills and two frag grenades. However, the leader of the Chop Shop, "Blister", manages to escape.

After Leo is healed by Vinz's psy powers, he shows them how to get to the Delta-64 acid refinery.

As the Agents arrive at Delta-64 they see that this huge open area was once filled by a gigantic building, which has now been reduced to a veritable mountain of rubble. In the center is a seemingly perfectly preserved sphere, untouched by the catastrophic destruction.

There is a noticeable change in the smell as the air circulation systems are still struggling to remove the smoke and dust from the explosion.
